Dr Luke Northey is a comprehensive ophthalmologist with interests in cataract surgery, glaucoma, medical retina, pterygium surgery, and general ophthalmology. Dr Northey completed ophthalmology training through the Sydney Eye Hospital where he worked as the professorial senior registrar. Dr Northey has an interest in ophthalmology training and education having previously served as the chair of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists trainee representative group.
He has published in peer reviewed medical journals and is a clinical associate lecturer at the University of Sydney. He is the current glaucoma fellow at Westmead Hospital where he is further expanding his interests in the subspecialty.
Dr Northey believes in patient-focused and evidence-based healthcare and strives to achieve the best outcomes for his patients.
