The Medi-Aid Foundation is a not for profit company established by Dr John Knight in 1973 which provides funding for cataract surgery for need patients, in order to reduce the waiting list times in the public hospital system. CPH has partnered with the program to provide specialist surgical training for ophthalmic registrars, via the Federal Government Specialist Training Program (STP). Mivision recently featured the Medi-Aid Program.
