Chatswood Private Hospital recently celebrated International Nurses Day with the help of the Australian College of Nursing. Our nursing staff were treated to a well-earned morning tea as a token of thanks for all of their hard work.
International Nurses day commemorates the birthday of the famous nurse, Florence Nightengale and is celebrated every year on May the 12th. It is a day where we show our appreciation to all the hard work that our nurses do to make us feel comfortable and safe on our hospital journeys. In Australia, the Australian College of Nursing provides a celebratory breakfast to mark the occasion.
We really cannot mention how much we value our nursing staff and hope that this breakfast shows a small token of our gratitude.
