Roger Cronin, our Chief Executive Officer, recently heard the latest clinical research, knowledge and technology in Ophthalmology at the European Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgeons Conference (ESCRS) in Copenhagen.
Mr Cronin said, “This conference presents the latest clinical knowledge and research in Ophthalmology. A variety of topics were covered including laser femto cataract surgery, advances in intraocular lens, peri-operative technologies, diagnostic equipment and laser vision correction advances such as SMILE. Presmed Australia is committed to staying on top of the latest advances in Ophthalmology technologies for the benefit of our patients and I’m looking forward to integrating these new technologies into our group to further enhance the quality and safety of patient care and clinical outcomes”.
With nearly 8000 attendees and experts anticipated to participate, ESCRS 2016 represented a great opportunity for networking and catching up with the latest innovations in Eyesight, Health Care, Surgery, Vision, Ophthalmology and Cataract medical fields.
Mr Cronin also visited Stockholm Eye Hospital, one of the leading eye hospitals in Scandinavia. It was pleasing to benchmark our eye hospital services with other leaders. Our group offers world-class ophthalmic surgical services with state-of-the-art equipment, instrumentation and nursing care,” said Mr Cronin.
