Chatswood Private Hospital (CPH) is committed to continually supporting and providing education to the community. As part of those efforts, CPH in association with Macular Diseases Foundation Australia, hosted a free Macular Disease (MD) patient education seminar on 9 February, 2019. The Seminar consisted of presentations from CPH Ophthalmologist, Dr Vicky Lu, The Macular Diseases Foundation Australia and Quantum, low vision aid supplier.
Attendees were given the opportunity to learn technical elements about Macular Disease, how to prevent, support and live with MD and what tools and aids are currently available.
