Chatswood Private Hospital hosted the second of its annual in-house events on the 13th of July. Coinciding with RANZCO’s Jul-EYE awareness month, the event invited GPs across Sydney to the hospital for an evening of the recent developments in the field of Ophthalmology.
The night started with a tour of the hospital and its facilities at 6:00pm, followed by drinks and a three course meal. During the dinner, six Ophthalmic surgeons gave fascinating talks on the latest on Ophthalmic developments including: Managing eye trauma, Aberrations in the ageing eye, Retinal vascular diseases, steroid usage, diagnosing ptosis, and non-resolving red eyes.
Attendees were enthusiastic about the event, with everyone giving glowing feedback for the interesting presentations and educational content. Attendees were left with a great deal of knowledge about both the hospital and the future of Ophthalmic surgery.
